Developed in 2015 with funding from the Youth and Sports Movement Support Fund and supervised by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing through its Aqaba Directorate, the hotel commenced operations in 2017. Its construction cost is estimated at USD 11 to 14 million excluding the value of the land. The hotel has been closed since 2020 following the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
